Ken is the heart and soul of the Hope Street Mission in Woolloomooloo. Besides being a Baptist Church pastor he runs the Back Shed café where all sorts pop in. He gives us some raw insights into Australia’s most densely populated outpost for the lost and homeless.

Hope Street
Hope Street offers compassion, shelter and hope for marginalised people, including the homeless, sex workers, counselling for gambling and training the unemployed.
Homeless Person Information Service
The Homeless Persons Information Centre (HPIC) is the telephone information and referral service that refers those in the community who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness, to the services that may assist them. It provides professional assessments and referrals for clients seeking accommodation and support services within NSW.
Matthew Talbot Hostel
Vinnies’ Matthew Talbot Hostel in Woolloomooloo provides accommodation and specialised support to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
