‘Why Do We Fight?’ – Length 5:45

Joe was on the streets at 14. He spent ten years in jail for armed robbery. He’s bi-polar. His art helped him survive seriously tough times. He has powerful opinions on the link between mental illness, breaking the law and homelessness.

Sadly Joe passed away in June 2015. May he rest in peace.

“Every man has his secret sorrows which the world knows not; and often times we call a man cold when he is only sad.”

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow – 19th Century Poet
