Bill Crews first met Mary Hooker in Kings Cross in the late 1970s when she was a young kid on the escape from Girls Homes. This shy girl, now a proud woman, has travelled an incredible journey.

The Homeless Persons Information Centre (HPIC) is the telephone information and referral service that refers those in the community who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness, to the services that may assist them. It provides professional assessments and referrals for clients seeking accommodation and support services within NSW.
